The subs and cold bar are still amazing! I'm happy they added a café to replace the wine room. It was much needed after the town lost Coffee Traders. The guy with the glasses and hat was super nice and seemed happy to be there, but the other guy was super sleepy and seemed like he was working there against his will. He looked very disappointed when he had to stand up but I'll just buy him a coffee next time I'm in there. The muffins are really good!
Sooo cute and homey. Baked goods, sandwich line was super long and you could just tell this is a hometown staple. Really enjoyed walking through and seeing all the diff dips and cheese and cracker selection!
My wife found this sandwich place via Yelp, but it's sooooo much more than a sandwich place. They have treats, warm foods, and like a small bodega.
Putnam Market is officially on my list of favorite, must-go places in Saratoga. Their deli is fantastic - they have a ton of subs, wraps, and soups that are all made in-house with fresh ingredients. (My favorite is the Catharine!) They also sell baked goods that are made in house and I have loved every single one that I've tried. The market itself has a massive selection of things that you just can't get elsewhere, from local goods to hard-to-find snacks. Their employees are always super kind, and I love the vibe of the place - very calm and quiet and somewhere where I'd love to sit and have lunch everyday. I love it. Absolutely visit if you're thinking about it!
Have been coming here for quite awhile but it has been awhile since our last visit. Like the fact I can order a 1/2 a sandwich as I typically can not eat a whole sandwich. Love their Chicken Salad and it was a beautiful day to sit outside for lunch. They have a large selection of sandwiches and a hot item bar, though I have never gotten items from the bar and always opt for sandwiches. We were both full but opted for some dessert to take with us. Had to take a star away due to dessert. Was so disappointed. Cupcake was so dry it wasn't edible which was disappointing. The chocolate mud bar was OK but was not what I think of Mississippi Mud cake/bar. Very chocolately and was moist. Still highly recommend as a great place for lunch !!!
A little pricy, but the food is great! $7 for half a sandwich or $14 for a full. Lots of teas, coffee, chocolates, and baked goods. Love stopping here when I'm in town.
This is an amazing market that was awarded Best market in the world! First, they have a cheese room that you step into and you can see all the unique cheeses they sell. I bought a seven year aged cheddar. It was he best cheese I have ever bought! So nutty and mature. They have an assortment of delicious crackers and charcuterie board additions to go with it. This market both local made food and ready-made treats. I bought some of the Saratoga springs peanut butter as well as popcorn kernels. They are unlike any popcorn kernels I have seen. The bakery has a wonderful assortment of yummy baked goods. You can also get hot food or sandwiches made. There are plenty of seats out front to enjoy your food!
Is a family owned business at a prime location in Saratoga. The store is a grocery store that includes a wine room, bakery, cheese, sandwich and salad place. We didn't buy anything as we had just had our lunch and relushed on the candy from the candy store a block away. We just walked around the store and I felt that the prices were a little expensive compared to the places I shop at. The store owners are actively involved in the community and sometimes, it is worth paying a little more for convenience, the mission, shop local and give back to the community.
